Who We Are
ELEP S.A. operates a modern olive pomace processing facility, continuously incorporating cutting-edge technologies, advanced equipment, and state-of-the-art systems.
Today, we are one of the top five Greek producers of crude olive pomace oil and olive pomace biomass. Our privately owned facilities in the Patras Industrial Area form a fully integrated, state-of-the-art industrial complex. We work closely with olive mills throughout Western Greece and the Peloponnese, ensuring the efficient collection, processing, and valorization of olive pomace while maximizing the value of this important agricultural resource.

Circular Economy
At ELEP S.A., sustainable development is not simply a goal — it is at the heart of our business model. We believe in a “circular future” and have developed a differentiated circular economy platform that transforms by-products from two-phase olive mills into valuable new products.
By recovering and upcycling residual biomass, we maximize resource efficiency, minimize waste, and create additional value throughout the olive processing chain.
Our Green Practices
Sustainable Facility Design
We use solar light tubes to provide natural daylight to the interiors of our buildings, reducing electricity consumption for lighting. Our privately owned photovoltaic solar park further supports the energy needs of our facility, contributing to a lower carbon footprint and greater energy independence.
Water Management
We employ a two-phase extraction process that significantly reduces water consumption and minimizes the environmental impact associated with olive pomace processing.
Biomass Valorization
Our production is increasingly focused on transforming residual olive biomass into innovative, high-value products, including squalene, biopolyphenols, and biochar. By converting residual biomass into valuable resources, we help replace materials and resources traditionally derived from fossil fuels, supporting a more sustainable and resource-efficient industrial model.
INTERNATIONAL PRESENCE
Export Activity
International growth has always been at the core of our strategy. Today, more than 90% of our production is exported, supported by a strong and long-standing customer base in Italy and Spain. The international recognition of our products is built on strict quality classification and control at every stage of the production process, combined with our commitment to consistently supplying high-specification crude olive pomace oil.
Our focus on quality, reliability, and long-term partnerships has enabled us to establish a strong presence in key European markets and build lasting relationships with customers across the olive oil industry.
